SUMMARY:Club attending Woodworks at Daventry
DESCRIPTION:We are pleased to confirm that for the first time Burcot Woodturners will be at the Woodworks at Daventry show which is organised by the Tudor Rose Woodturners. It is in Daventry Leisure Centre so no problem from the weather. \n\n\n\nWe will have a stand/display and will also be taking a lathe to enter the various competitions over the weekend\,  \n\n\n\nPre show competition: Bowl of Fruit\,  \n\n\n\nTime competition 1: A goblet with a captive ring 1hr 15 min \n\n\n\nTime Competition 2: A decorated platter 1hr 30min \n\n\n\nOpen Time Competition: A  3 legged stool. \n\n\n\nIt would be great to see members come along and support the club over the 2 days\, and put Burcot on the map. It is FREE to get in and free to park.

SUMMARY:Coombeswood Canal Trust Open Weekend
DESCRIPTION:We are delighted to be invited back to the Coombeswood Canal Trust’s Open Weekend for a couple of days turning down by the ‘cut’.  \n\n\n\nWe will have the gazebo set up with one lathe\, and be demonstrating our craft throughout the weekend. Hopefully we will be luck with the weather as the event always draws a decent crowd. \n\n\n\nIt’s free entry so why not pop along\, say hello\, and have a look at the various stalls.
