Chairmans Challenge - Burcot Woodturners

The Chairman’s challenge is set by our Chairman Richard every 2 months and judged at our Hands On events.

Richard’s challenges are designed to push you all a little bit further to develop; new skills, techniques and to get more out of your turning.

As always the entries will be judged on their ability to meet the criteria, and above all else “Form and Finish”

A selection of top pieces from each challenge will be taken to Woodworks at Daventry 2027 to form part of the club stand.

A FUN ITEM

You can choose what you want to turn for example a gonk, animal, toy, spinning top, idiot stick, a christmas tree, or even the starship enterprise!!. You are only limited by your imagination

You will need to bring you item or items to our November meeting to be included in the competition.
