Despite the inclement weather we had another excellent turnout of club members for our final meeting of 2024.
It was a relaxed evening that gave everyone the chance to chat over a cuppa and a mince pie, followed by our now famous Christmas Raffle.
Thanks to the generosity of members, there were plenty of prizes to go round and everyone found themselves going home with one prize or another.
The good news is that it raised £285 for club funds, which goes a long way to support the activities that we do.
We also had some superb items exhibited on the members work table. Thank you to everyone who brought a piece along and well done for your fine work. The standard continues to just get better and better, and it is pleasing to see people having a go at pieces that have been made by our guest demonstrators. Here is a selection on this months pieces.
On behalf of the committee we would like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Our AGM will be on Thursday 2nd January at 7.15pm so please come along. It is your club and we would like as many members as possible to come along, find out what has been going on, and have a input about what we do in the year ahead.
