With local elections, the hottest day of the year so far, and May Day celebrations, it was good to see so many members make it to the Village Hall for our monthly meeting – thank you to everyone who turned up.
We had the 3 club lathes up and running, with Tony, Trevor and Roger showing members various techniques from turning a bowl to how to create captive rings.
As usual, we also had our members work table set up and it was good to see the excellent pieces that were brought along to share with the rest of the club.
Bryan and Tony brought pieces that were inspired by last months demonstration by Emma Cook, which goes to show how our demonstrators inspire club members to have a go. Here are a few of the pieces that were on display:
